Automatic door lights have been a hallmark of many cars over the years, and are now being seen in a new UK rollout of autonomous cars.
The new model will be available in a range of different models starting in 2021, with an estimated $1bn price tag.
The technology is based on a combination of a computer and sensor network and can detect a door opening and automatically shut it.
It can also detect the presence of other occupants in the car and warn the driver when there is a problem.
Automatic doors have been in use for decades, but have traditionally been limited to manual controls and were only a few years old when the first self-driving cars rolled off the assembly line.
The first autonomous vehicles, the Ford Fusion, rolled off assembly lines in 2019, and have since racked up more than 100,000 miles in their autonomous mode.
The UK’s Autonomy programme will see the introduction of autonomous car models in 2021 and 2022, with a total of 20 vehicles and an estimated price tag of $1.5bn.
