A man died in a crash in Delhi on Wednesday, police said, after he fell into the path of a vehicle driven by a woman.
The man, who was not identified, was driving a silver Hyundai Sonata sedan with a woman on the left.
She lost control of the vehicle and hit a parked truck, hitting her head, police officer Rakesh Kumar said.
The woman who was in the passenger seat of the Hyundai was unhurt, and the man was taken to a hospital where he died.
The driver, identified as Shruti Singh, 38, has been arrested and the auto accident will be referred to a magistrate, Kumar said on Thursday.
“She was in her 20s and has a medical condition.
We are investigating what caused the accident,” he said.
In 2014, a man from Delhi fell into a parked car while he was taking a break in a residential area and fractured his skull, injuring his neck.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital and later discharged, but he did not survive.
