Hurricane Irma left thousands of Florida residents without power on Sunday and left many of them without access to a bank, gas station or other essential services.
The National Hurricane Center said more than 10,000 homes and businesses had lost power as of Monday afternoon, with the majority of those in the Miami area.
The hurricane has left hundreds of thousands without power in parts of the state.
The Miami Herald reported that some homes were without running water and water shutoffs have forced hundreds of families to leave the Keys.
The Associated Press reported that more than 100,000 people were left without electricity.
The governor of Florida, Rick Scott, has ordered a statewide curfew that begins at 10 p.m.
Sunday and ends at midnight on Monday, though he said that would not apply to some areas.

Hurricane Irma is expected Sunday to make landfall in Florida and other Gulf Coast states, bringing heavy rain and high winds to the Keys of the Caribbean, Puerto Rico and the mainland United States.
In Florida, where a majority of residents live in the central and northern regions, a number of counties have been declared disaster areas, including Broward, Palm Beach, Hillsborough, Hillsdale, Palm Bay and Hillsborough County.
