8 of 9 The concept of automated doors is still a bit of a mystery, and it seems like there is still quite a bit that we don’t know.
At least until now.
According to an article from The Verge, Apple has already been working on a “smart door” concept.
According to the Verge, the company has been working with several design firms, including one that specializes in smart door kits, to bring the concept to market.
The article goes on to say that the doors will be “built with Apple’s signature Smart Access technology, which is designed to make door-opening easier and more convenient.
And as an added bonus, Apple will pay for the development of the technology itself.”
As for when we’ll see this concept in action, it’s not quite clear.
The article also suggests that the idea is “still in the early stages,” so we should expect the first smart door to hit the market sometime in 2018.
Apple’s Smart Access is an automatic door system that uses sensors to unlock doors and lock them using Bluetooth technology.
The system relies on the ability of the door to automatically open or close depending on what’s in the room.
For instance, if there’s a light on in the living room, the door automatically opens when the light goes off, even if it’s off when the door is first pushed.
As with other smart door technologies, this system requires users to press a button on the door itself, which can then be programmed to unlock or close the door.
Apple will likely also be offering these door locks at the Apple Store and elsewhere.
